Experimenting with Actions

The last week and a half has been nuts, but I'm back on the blog! (This is for you, Tobi - I'm alive :P)

I've been doing a lot to improve my shooting lately, and now I'm starting to work on improving my post-processing. When I first got photo processing software, I went crazy applying all kinds of presets, color modifications, glowy effects, etc. etc. Then, I started to really like my images straight out of the camera (because they were actually getting better!). More and more I've been pulling back from processing, other than basic exposure adjustments and that kind of thing. Now that I'm starting to get really comfortable with the way I shoot, I decided I really do need to do a little more artistic editing to really define my style. I acquired some new actions this week, and am having fun experimenting and revamping old photos. Here are some results:

It's still a work in progress, but I'm excited to start showing off new shoots with these bad boys soon!

  2. Chandani's photo looks awesome with the action(s)!! It is the only one that is a real improvement though. The others look great with or without! :)

  3. These look great, thanks for sharing! It's so easy to go overboard, but you seem to have just the right touch.
